When @olli_dickerson and @anekdotfilmco approached us with the ambitious plan to shoot this film last summer, we jumped at the opportunity. Little did we know it would take place over the course of a weekend, across the Georgia Strait on Thormanby Island. We spent months preparing and praying for the right conditions, only to have plans tip upside down and improvise on the spot. It took three days just to get to the location, and the same to get home. Splitting the journey up over two months, it was a real commitment to make this happen. Not to mention a broken down engine and gale force winds to the make the trip home an interesting one. What a journey.
