The Project has been paving the way for Canadian clothing production using high quality, low impact materials and ethical Canadian manufacturing.
We’ve set out on a mission to make positive change in the clothing industry, specifically by lowering our environmental and social impact through transparent Canadian manufacturing using low impact, natural and organic materials whenever possible. It’s been a long journey full of challenges, delays, mistakes and obstacles, but when you set big goals, you’re often met with big challenges.
Our reminder to each of you today is that if you’re able, to buy good clothes that will last a long time. Don’t settle for fast fashion and ever changing trends. They’re here today and gone tomorrow, often ending up in landfills within months. We’re aware sustainable fashion isn’t always attainable for everyone, but part of our mission is keeping prices low to ensure more people can begin to make the switch.
