The outer is cut from a 100% Bulgarian Wool which uses two different shades of undyed yarn made from naturally coloured wool, which together produce a subtle melange effect. The wool is sourced from sheep living in the mountains of Bulgaria, and then woven and finished in Osaka, Japan. Known for its exceptional softness, resilience, and warmth, this wool is triple-plied to create a fabric with rich texture and depth. The sheep are raised in an environment with strong sunlight during the day and damp, misty nights; conditions that contribute to the wool’s high crimp quality.
Fully lined with 100% Cupro, the coat has a voluminous and lightweight feeling, while offering excellent warmth retention. By using undyed yarn made from naturally coloured wool, this material does not use large amounts of water or fuel for dyeing, and if left in nature, it returns to the soil. Construction features include raglan sleeves, full cupro lining, welt pockets, and a concealed zipper.
