Originally from Portugal, Jorge learned from some of the best in the business down in California before moving his craft to the south coast of Vancouver Island, where he’s leading a movement of intentionally designed crafts.

We shared countless stories and chatted surf for hours. The thing I love most about his methods are his commitment to the environment. He’s chosen materials with a reduced impact, substituting petroleum based resin for plant based.
